I, Josh Hobbs, personally craft all my office shades right here in Austin, Texas. I am among the few who locally fabricate window shades for businesses in the area. By being the manufacturer, I can significantly reduce costs. I also handle all of the installations for my Austin, TX, office window shades in person. As a small local company, we manage high volume. My assistant and I carry out all the work. Together, we manufacture and install each of our projects. By maintaining low costs, I can offer my customers very affordable installed office window shade pricing.
If you have a high-volume job, don't think twice about calling me; I can handle the project.
What are the color options for your window shades for businesses?
Black 97% - Most common
Beige/White 97% - 2nd Most common
Grey/White 97% - 3rd Most common
Beige 97%
New Brown 97%

Most office shades that we make are made using Black fabric. We do, however, make quite a few shades using our Beige/White fabric, but the black fabric is by far the favorite.
Are these the only fabric colors you have to choose from?
Yes, because these five colors encompass the essentials. As a small shop owner, I decided to focus on the basics. I don't provide all the extra features that would increase inventory costs. Instead, I offer a basic, robust, and well-crafted business window shade using just these five colors.

Now, with that said, I do have blackout shades that are made from a vinyl 100% solid fabric. The vinyl color options I have are white, grey, and beige. You can not see through the 100% vinyl fabric. The picture here shows the white vinyl 100% blockage office window shade. You can not see past (through) this fabric.
Is there one particular color you recommend for window shades for businesses over another? Does one color offer better shade protection than the other?
All of them offer 97% solar protection, so their performance is identical. You can see slightly better through the darker shades, like black and new brown, compared to the lighter ones. However, the difference is minimal. All colors provide good visibility. On my patio solar roller shades page, there's a section called looking through the 97% solar shade fabric where you can get an idea of how well you can see through my roller shade fabrics.
